Playing for Change

Bow of Moon è nato come blog di moda ma soprattutto come un sito che rispecchi me stessa. La moda è una delle mie tante passioni, quella che mi coinvolge di più, che mi da vita più di tutte le altre.
Ma vorrei che il mio blog diventasse uno occhio osservatore di moda e uno specchio della vita di tutti i giorni. Per questo a volte mi piace parlarvi di altri temi o esporvi alcuni miei pensieri. Oggi il mio pensiero è legato alla musica...
Conosco da quasi un'anno Playing for Change: è un progetto che vuol rompere le distanze con la musica perchè essa non ha barriere culturali e religiose, non è razzista, non ostacola nessuno... anzi, avvicina le persone, dovunque esse siano.

Il progetto nasce dall'incontro di Mark Johnson e musicista Roger Ridley, per le strade di Santa Monica ascoltando la sua versione di "Stand by me" (che potrete ascoltare tra i video seguenti). Dal 2007 diventa un’organizzazione no profit destinata a raccogliere fondi per la costruzione di scuole di musica nelle zone povere del pianeta.

STAND BY ME

Bow of Moon was born as a fashion blog but also as a site that reflects myself. Fashion is one of my passions, one that affects me more, that gives me life more than any other.

I known for almost a year Playing for Change: it is a project that wants to break the gap with music because it has no cultural and religious barriers, it is not racist, does not hinder anyone... indeed, brings people together, wherever they are.
The project was born when Mark Johnson meet the musician Roger Ridley, on the streets of Santa Monica listening to his version of "Stand by Me" (which you can hear in the video below). From 2007 it became a no-profit organization to raise funds for the construction of music schools in poor areas of the planet,
