A love long years...

Un amore lungo anni...

    A volte ho la sensazione che io possa paragonare il battere delle mie palpebre ad uno scatto fotografico e vorrei chiudere gli occhi per fissare più a lungo l'immagine appena vista.

    La mia università è lontana dalla mia città natale, passano mesi prima di rivedere la mia famiglia. Oggi sono andata a trovare i miei nonni. Mentre li salutavo avrei voluto conservare la fotografia scattata dai occhi che li ritraeva sorridenti nonostante le rughe, gli acciacchi, i dolori e le lentezze nei movimenti. 

    La vera età è quella che si ha dentro, nell'animo.

    Mia nonna non sta ferma un attimo per fare cento mila servizi (non so nemmeno da dove sbuchino fuori) e nonno continua i suoi lavoretti saltuari ripensando alle reti che un tempo buttava in mare o all'orticello della casa in riva al lago che prima gestiva con amore. 

    Ma ciò che risalta dalla loro fotografia è il loro amore ancora vero, ancora vivo, ancora pulsante, ancora saturo nel tempo, ricco di piccoli momenti quotidiani, liti e pace, problemi e soluzioni, di periodi a terra e altri in rialzo... Un amore. Qualcosa che tutti vorremmo riuscire a condividere con la propria metà nella nostra vita. E io penso di averlo trovato.

    Sometimes I feel that I can compare the beat of my eyelids for a photo shoot and I would close my eyes to fix as long as the image just seen.

    My university is offsite and taking months for to see my family. Today I went to visit my grandparents. While greeted them I wanted to keep the picture taken from my eyes that portrayed them smiling despite the wrinkles, the aches, pains and slowness of movements.

    The true age is what you have inside, in the soul.

    My grandmother is not stop a moment to make a hundred thousand services (I not even know where to pop out them) and my grandfather continued his odd jobs thinking about the nets that once threw into the sea or the litthe vegetable garden of the house near the lake that before he handled with love.

    But what stands out from their picture is their love still true, still lively, still beating, still in full time, full of small daily moments, bickering and peace, problems and solutions, periods on the ground and other rising... A love. Something that we all want to be able to share with our important person in our lives. And I think that I found it.
